For those of you who don't keep up with Harry

For those of you who don't know, the next and last HP book comes out this summer, just one week after the release of the next HP movie. The cover art for the US edition of the book came out yesterday and we fans are trying to find some hints of the plot in it. I recomend that those people who haven't read the series do so before the book comes out so that you can join the book release celebrations. Plus, the books really are better than the movies (not that the movies are bad by any means.)

Ready to go?

After going to the Thai buffet, my parents and I went to see the Swan Lake in the park. Unfortunately, our seats were so lateral that we could not see well, rather, instead of seeing an arabesque penche line we saw more of a crotch shot... We're hopping to go again, this time with good seats. After the show we went to get pizza at an Italian caffe, it was good, but once again my diet was postponed for the next day, you know the story...

Happy Birthday Darcy!

When we adopted Darcy at the end of last May, they told us she was born in March, but they did not have an exact date. I figured we could share a birthday. I cannot believe this baby is ready to graduate from kitten food to adult Science Diet.

Why "Darcy"?

" Darcy" sounds very much like the name of the very talented NYCB ballerina Darci Kistler.

"Darcy" also sounds like the name of the great Royal Ballet dancer, Darcey Bussel.

I also read on a website that Darcy came from the word "dark" so I figured it was a good name for a kitty with dark gray fur.

Darcy's Regular Activities

The little rascal loves scratching the furniture... she never got used to the scratcher we bought her.

She also likes scratching rugs and carpets alike.
Every day I make sure she gets some exercise by playing with her fav. teaser.

She also eats like a pig (or should I say, like her very own kitty mommy.)

Last weekend we went to a Mexican restaurant called Paxia, I was goofing around with the camera trying to find a good angle for my face... needless to say, we weren't very successful.

Well... I'm basicly creating this blog as a journal. My life is quite boring at the moment, but I'm hoping it will soon regain some of its former excitement.
For the time being, I'll post pictures of my cat, as she seems to the only creature having fun around here.
